About Me
My journey to Penns Valley School District started in York, PA, my hometown.  I taught in the York City School District after graduating from Juniata College with a B.A. in Elementary Education and Spanish.  For a brief but wonderful year, I taught 6th grade in a small-village school in Vermont. Upon returning to PA, I found teaching opportunities in Bellefonte and State College.  After receiving my Masters degree and Reading Specialist certification from Penn State, I worked as a reading specialist for the Central Intermediate Unit in nonpublic schools throughout Centre County.  In January of 1998, I landed in Spring Mills, PA, looking out from my Title I classroom window in Gregg Township Elementary School at an idyllic view of Sinking Creek. Just ten short years ago, I was reassigned from Centre Hall Elementary to Rebersburg Elementary.
Over the years, I've enjoyed the chance to meet many children and their families at our small-village school in the Penns Valley School District.
